Hello, my name is Paul Stalker. In this section I will tell you more about myself and how I can assist you with your Howard County, Maryland real estate needs and beyond! Even though I primary live in Howard County and do business in its cities which consist of Columbia, Ellicott City, Elkridge, Clarksville, etc. – I’ve often worked in parts of Anne Arundel County and Carroll County.
I moved to Howard County, Maryland in 1980 with my family and settled in Jessup. We lived in the neighborhood of Huntington and were a part of a newly growing city of Columbia, Maryland. The city of Columbia and much of Howard County has changed quite a bit since then. But many things still remain the same such as, Howard County’s unique mix of urban and rural appeal – which is one of many things I’ve always loved about this county. You get some country living with city life. It is an active community, there are countless parks and activities, free recycling, and it’s in a central area too – close to D.C., Baltimore, and Annapolis.
I’ve attended elementary, middle, and high school in Howard County and I know first hand why the school system has such a great reputation. I also attended the University of Maryland, College Park. Being an entrepreneur was something that always seemed to fit, so following college I embarked on many ventures including owning a local liquor store, a home improvement trade company, and even offered personal training consultancy services. After investing in several rental properties and experiencing some less than excellent service from fellow Realtors I decided to obtain my license and throw my hat in the ring.
After becoming a Realtor I made a promise to myself that I would be the Real Estate Agent that I never had. I will always be honest and put my client’s needs ahead of my own. By hiring me you will receive my full experience in business which includes a life learned skill in negotiation, marketing, and how the home improvement industry works. If you will entrust me to be your Realtor I will provide much more than just listing your home or finding you a home, rather, I wish to become your Real Estate adviser for life.
Thank You
Paul Stalker
